Flat windows and standard discs run economically from 100 pieces; shaped or curved covers for smart rings may need a slightly higher trial quantity and a longer cycle because of extra CNC and lapping steps.
Why shaped covers carry a different minimum
Flat windows need slicing, lapping and polishing. Shaped or curved covers add diamond CNC contouring, stepped or multi-facet geometry and additional polishing passes — more tooling set-up per part. That extra set-up, not a policy floor, is what shifts the economical trial quantity.

Do shaped sapphire covers have a higher MOQ than flat windows?
There is no hard MOQ for either. Both prototype from one piece; shaped covers simply need a slightly higher trial quantity to be economical.
Can you prototype before my tooling is final?
Yes — send the drawing or a physical sample and we will prototype the cover, then adjust before production.
What lead time should I plan for?
Prototypes 1–2 weeks; mass production about one month, longer for complex curved geometry.
